A full-time paraprofessional position is available for the 2025-2026 school year at an elementary school located in Winnetka, IL. This role is ideal for individuals with experience supporting elementary-aged students, particularly those with challenging behaviors, within a school setting. Location: Elementary School, Winnetka, Illinois Schedule: Monday Friday, 35 hours per week (includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch and two 15-minute unpaid breaks) Position Type: Contract, Full-Time Role Overview: The paraprofessional will work closely with classroom teachers to assist with instructional support and classroom management. This position requires providing one-on-one assistance to students as needed and supporting various classroom activities. Responsibilities may also include helping with toileting and other personal care needs. Key Responsibilities: Assist with classroom management and support teachers during lessons Provide individualized attention, including one-on-one support for students Support learning activities and classroom routines Assist students with toileting and other personal care needs as required Qualifications: Must hold Illinois Paraprofessional certification Experience working with elementary students with challenging behaviors is preferred Ability to adapt and work effectively in a dynamic classroom environment Prior experience with toileting assistance is highly desirable Working in this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the educational development and daily support of students.
