Job Description:

Join our dedicated team at Sports Physical Therapy (SPT), where we specialize in delivering top-notch physical therapy services to improve athletes' performance and aid in their recovery from injuries. As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you will work under the direction of our licensed physical therapists to apply treatments and exercise plans tailored to each patient’s specific needs. This role is pivotal in helping patients achieve their optimal physical functionality and sports performance. Assist the physical therapist in daily operations and patient treatments. Help implement patient-specific treatment programs as directed by the physical therapist. Monitor and report on patient progress to the physical therapy team. Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and maintenance exercises. Maintain patient documentation and therapy records in compliance with medical and legal requirements. Ensure the therapy area is organized, clean, and equipped with necessary supplies. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to instruct and manage patients in physical therapies. Understanding of compliance and safety protocols in the healthcare setting. Aptitude for detailed documentation and record keeping. Knowledge of current physical therapy technology and practices. 401k Current State License as a Physical Therapist Assistant. CPR and First Aid certification.
