Job Description Job Description We are seeking an Outpatient Nurse to join our team! You will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of assigned surgical patients, overseeing per diem staff, Responsibilities: Administer nursing care both in and out of the Operating Room Preop, Circulate, and Recover surgical patients Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention, pre and post operative care Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities Maintain accurate patient medical records Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members Coordinate staff breaks Ensure facility equipment checks are completed. Evaluates nurses and ancillary staff actions to ensure optimal patient care and safety Checks facility for safety issues, participates in QUAPI programs Trains and educates staff members Maintaining inventory, stocking, and ordering *The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Previous 5 to 10 years of experience in surgical outpatient nursing or acute circulating, pre-op and recovery experience Appropriate ACLS and BLS certifications Familiarity with medical / surgical software and equipment, durable medical equipment Ability to build rapport with patients Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Ability to evaluate daily operations Excellent verbal and written communication Service orientation Active listening Monitoring Social perceptiveness Critical thinking Instructing Company Description Multi-Specialty Clinic Company Description Multi-Specialty Clinic
