ICU/Critical Care RN in Fountain Valley, California, 92708! Job
Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience:
Minimum 3 years in ICU License: Valid state nursing license
required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS Must-Have: CPI Blue
Card from the Crisis Prevention Institute required. EPIC experience
required. Two supervisor references required. Description: The
Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care in a critical
care setting. The role includes management of dysrhythmias and
arterial line management. Strong skills in ventilator management
and care of ventilated patients are essential. The nurse will
administer medications and manage titration of cardiac and
vasoactive drips. Suctioning and isolation precautions/PPE
experience are necessary. The position involves working with a
diverse patient population: adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
The nurse will collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams for
optimal patient outcomes. A focus on infection prevention and
compliance with safety protocols is required. The candidate should
be knowledgeable in managing patients with multisystem organ
dysfunction/failure. Documentation and charting will be performed
using the EPIC system. Travel experience is preferred for this
position. The nurse must be flexible with weekend shifts and
potential changes in scheduling. All required certifications must
