Mission! How You’ll Make an Impact: The Supply Chain Manager will
have the ability to strategically plan and coordinate the materials
function with Quality, Engineering, Planning, Manufacturing and
Financial functions. They will have the capability to translate
strategic concepts into tactical processes and procedures to
effectively manage purchasing and inventory departments. This
position requires a high degree of integrity and interpersonal
skills. What you’ll be doing as a Supply Chain Manager: Working a
full-time, onsite position at our Chatsworth, California location.
Selects and maintains suppliers that provide high quality products
and services at best identified cost and lead time status while
maintaining the highest code of ethics and conduct Establishes
broader supply base in support of significantly increased
outsourced/cross dock parts ordering Develops systems, policies,
and procedures to evaluate supplier quotations that utilizes
appropriate negotiation and purchasing techniques to ensure
quality, cost, delivery, and service Manages supplier information,
item masters, bills of material, and other material-related
information in MRP system Negotiates contracts for direct material
purchases and support management the same for purchase of
production and office equipment Plans and purchases production
supplies and tooling in support of ops schedule and office supplies
and materials in support of administrative operations. Provides
timely and accurate material costs in support of bid and proposal
activities Manages make vs. buy process and makes recommendations
to senior management Effectively manages company’s kitting function
in order to achieve 100% internal OTD to work centers; manages
Production Flow Specialist position ensuring all work center status
boards are updated, kits are at work centers for current and next
job 100% OT and accurate synchronization between actual parts flow
and GSS job grid Tracks and ensures OTD of materials and tooling in
order to support the organizations OTD of products Establishes
robust JIT inventory practice with material suppliers to provide
materials in support of kitting/operational schedule and maintain
optimum inventory levels to minimize inventory costs Manages
personnel in Purchasing and Inventory departments including hiring,
performance evaluations, raises, and discipline Manages Inventory
operations and personnel achieving and maintaining annual inventory
turns of >6 Develops, modifies, and maintains policies,
processes and procedures, and performance metrics relating to the
Materials function Develops and implements clerical and office
procedures and practices, studies workflow, sequence of operations,
and office arrangement to determine best efficiencies and
productivity of personnel Adheres to all workplace safety
guidelines, policies, and laws determined by the company, state,
and federal authorities, and ensures that personnel within the
Materials department comply as well Performs other duties as
assigned. Required Qualifications (Education, skills and
experience): Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, , Operations,
Business, or related field OR equivalent relevant experience.
ERP/MRP system expertise and data-driven inventory & supplier
performance management. 7 years of supply chain, purchasing, or
materials management experience in aerospace or precision
manufacturing Proven leadership ability to develop teams, drive
accountability, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced,
deadline-driven environment while maintaining high ethical
standards and fostering strong cross-functional relationships.
Preferred Qualifications (Education, skills and experience): ISM,
APICS (CPIM/CSCP), or similar professional certification Experience
with Lean manufacturing principles (Kanban, pull systems,
supermarket replenishment, visual controls) Physical Demands and

worn where designated. Compensation and Benefits: Employee Benefits

applicable off-shifts; and discretionary bonus programs based on
position and company performance. The Supply Chain Manager
Compensation range for onsite California applicants is $130,000 -
$150,000 annually commensurate with experience. Some shifts may
include shift differential pay rates. Other site ranges may
