Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Residency Program Director to leadan ACGME-accredited residency or fellowship program at a Level I facility inPalm Springs, CA. The Director is responsible for program administration,ensuring full compliance with ACGME requirements, and supporting theprofessional growth and development of both faculty and trainees. Compensation: $ 557k for 10 shifts per month Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with ACGME Common and specialty-specific requirements, including preparation for accreditation reviews and ADS reporting Oversee the residency curriculum, ensuring high-quality, competency-based clinical and didactic education Recruit, mentor, and evaluate faculty to support excellence in teaching and role modeling Monitor trainee performance, provide evaluations, and support resident/fellow wellbeing Manage program operations, including budget oversight, documentation, and annual program evaluation Serve as the primary liaison between trainees, faculty, the GME office, and accrediting bodies Requirements MD or DO degree from an accredited institution Board certification in the relevant specialty or subspecialty Current, unrestricted medical license (or eligibility) in the state of practice Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical and educational experience in an accredited residency or fellowship program Palm Springs offers a unique blend of desert beauty, upscaleamenities, and year-round sunshine, with easy access to outdoor recreation,dining, and cultural events-all while being just a short drive from Los Angelesand Southern California coastal destinations.
