Our clinic has been serving the San Fernando Valley for over 8 years. It serves a predominantly Spanish-speaking population. This job requires you to work with physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners. Responsibilities: Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage medical scheduling, including appointment bookings, cancellations, and reminders. Review documentation for accuracy and completeness prior to patient appointments. Handle patient inquiries regarding services, insurance, and billing processes. Assist with medical collections and maintain accurate financial records. Maintain organized patient files and health information management systems. Collaborate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow and communication. Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support clinic operations. Qualifications: Previous experience in healthcare as a medical assistant (1-2 year experience req) Urgent Care experience a PLUS GYN experience a PLUS Good communication skills Strong organizational skills EHR experience Spanish Speaking Team player Professionalism and pleasant at all times Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Requirements: Must possess a dependable automobile with insurance and a valid California Driver's License. Must submit to and pass a drug test and criminal background check as a precondition to employment. Must provide proof of vaccination for COVID-19 with booster, Hepatitis B, TDAP, and MMR. Must provide recent TB test. BLS/CPR certification required.
